Critical Need for Board Members
The BLCA Board consists of volunteers that keep BLCA alive and well. Many, many community members throughout the past 40 years have held positions on the Board. At the March 2010 General Membership meeting, three and possibly four Board positions will be vacated. This is an unusual situation as typically only one or two positions open up at a time and there are people who are interested in the positions. This year, we don’t have any candidates for any of the open positions. We need four new Board Members. Paige Booth has graciously agreed to serve one more year (after many years in the position) as Treasurer. Andrea Upton is going to continue as of Vice President- Programs, or another position if we get a volunteer for Programs. The other open positions are: President, Vice President- Membership, Vice President- Community Development and Secretary.
Please consider volunteering for one of these positions to keep the BLCA Board and our community association going strong.
