Note: The following letter and information is composed mainly of excerpts from the Welcome Packet, given to each new Lane family. If you are new to the neighborhood and have not received your complimentary packet, please alert us to your move-in by e-mailing the Board. The information is provided here for prospective residents, new residents who do not have access to their packets, and other residents needing the information.

Welcome to Boulevard Lane!

To learn about our neighborhood and the Boulevard Lane Community Association (BLCA), visit the About page.

We hope you'll join your neighbors in becoming a member of the Boulevard Lane Community Association (BLCA). Annual dues are $25. Whether you are an owner or a renter, as a resident of Boulevard Lane, you benefit from the services funded by members' dues contributions. Among these are:

Monthly Newsletter. The "Lane Crier" is distributed to all residents of Boulevard Lane, generally 10 months per year.
Entryway Landscaping, Maintenance and Street Light. Our entryway plantings are certainly an asset to the entire community. The street light is an important safety feature and a convenience to all our residents and guests.
Neighborhood Activities. Many events are sponsored throughout the year by BLCA. An Easter Egg Hunt is run in Boulevard Lane County Park each spring. A neighborhood-wide garage sale is organized for the first weekend in June. Summer picnics, clean-up events, a Welcome Committee, and a Membership Directory are also organized by the Board and volunteers.

Tips

Garbage, yard waste and recycling day is Tuesday. Recycling will not pick up cardboard or boxes that are not flattened and cut into approximately 2 foot square pieces.
You are responsible for the grass/weeds in and over the sidewalks, and for shrubs or trees overhanging streets and walkways. Please remember to keep them trimmed.
Boulevard Lane County Park is located at the west end of SE 188th Place, off 127th/126th Place SE. There are playground equipment, trails, a grassy field and a sport court. The park is open from dawn to dusk.
Soos Creek is a salmon habitat and supports wildlife of many kinds. Our storm drains feed into Soos Creek. Please do not allow any paint, soap, automotive waste or chemical substances to enter the drain system.
